Held under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh TAG.Global and Pioneers Road Sign MoU to Organize 6th Medical Tourism World Summit

AMMAN- Held under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the 6th Medical Tourism World Summit will be jointly organized in June 2020 by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) and Pioneers Road Company with the participation of local, regional and global experts, ministries and travel agencies. 
 
TAG.Global and Pioneers Road Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in holding this important Summit which will witness global participation by tourism experts and agencies.
 
According to the MoU signed by Ramez Quneibi, Executive Director at TAG.Global and Ayman Arikat, Pioneers Road CEO, in the presence of HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, Special Ambassador to the UNWTO. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh will deliver a keynote speech regarding the future of medical tourism, challenges and opportunities. The speech will also focus on this vital sector and capitalize on the support of HM King Abdullah II.
 
The King has recently stressed that the tourism sector’s growth calls for bolstering public-private cooperation to enhance Jordan’s competitiveness as a popular destination in the region as well as for focusing on tourism priorities around Jordan.
 
HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said: "Medical tourism in Jordan has a very positive future and we are working through this key Summit to highlight the opportunities and challenges facing this important sector. Experts and specialized ministries from around the world are expected to participate in the conference and share their ideas and feedback which are always important when tackling an important subject such as tourism."
 
Meanwhile, Arikat said: "This is the 6th edition of the Medical Tourism World Summit and we are happy to cooperate with TAG.Global this year in organizing such a summit.  Last year we saw the participation of Arab Ministers of Health, decision-makers and medical officials who are authorized to send patients abroad for medical treatment from various countries. This year we will have a different attitude regarding bringing various parties together which will see agreements signed and MoUs finalized."
 
Furthermore, the event which will have the support of the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Health and Jordan Tourism Board, will be accompanied by an Exhibition, B2B meetings, and Buyers tour to hospitals and medical premises to the conference partners for the opportunity to present their organization to the numerous high-profile representatives of buyers, facilitators and medical tour operators who will be attending the event.
