TAGITI E-Solutions Initiates Financial System Implementation for Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information Technology International (TAGITI) E-Solutions Department has initiated the implementation of a financial system for the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority in Jordan.

The implemented system was developed using Oracle technology to automate the financial processes of the Authority, who were previously relying on a lot of manual work to perform financial transactions. The system include modules such as budgeting, accounts payable and general ledger amongst others.

Mr. Reyad Noubeh, E-solutions Executive Director said: "The importance of having a reliable financial system is essential to keep track of all financial transactions that an organization undertakes. The development of a customized financial system for the Authority will help them keep track of such transactions and eliminate errors associated with manual processing. We are privileged to have been chosen for this task."

The system was also integrated with the Authority's HR and payroll system as well as tourist ticketing system to provide integrated, streamlined financial information to the Authority's employees.

Training was provided to 20 of the Authority's employees with the project now in its closing phase.
