Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization signs a cooperation agreement with the Federation of Associations of the Palestinian Businessmen

Ramallah, West Bank ? 18 November 2009 - The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization have signed a cooperation agreement with the Federation of Associations of the Palestinian Businessmen (PFBA) earlier this month to provide training and professional services in all areas needed by PFBA.

The agreement stipulates that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) shall provide PFBA through its member companies and local associates around the world with services in the various areas of training; professional and consulting services; intellectual property services including filing applications, renewals, and others in connection with trademarks, patents, copyright, domain names, etc.; financial and tax advisory, accounting; studies and services related to project management and feasibility studies; consulting and requirements for the ISO certification; legal representation and consulting; drafting of contracts and other services that cover all economic sectors.

The cooperation agreement also requires that both parties shall collaborate in the preparation of project proposals for the development of the Palestinian economy and laws related to business sectors for submission to international and regional donors for the purposes of obtaining the necessary funding from donor institutions e.g. American and European organizations, the World Bank and others.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Majed Maali, secretary general of the Federation of Associations of Palestinian Businessmen, representing Mr. Mohammed Masrouji, PFBA Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Jamal Melhem, Executive Director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International - Ramallah office, representing Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of TAG-Org.
