AMMAN--- August 25, 2009 --- High ranking officials from the International Youth Foundation (IYF) visited today the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) where they were briefed on the facilities, services and activities of the Society.


During the visit, the delegation, headed by Ms. Rana Al Turk, country director and Mr. Awais Sufi, vice president, Employment Programs met with Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh, regional functional manager of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training, Mr. Qais Khalafat, executive director - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academies and Mr. Tareq Hammad, TAG-Knowledge executive director.


Both parties discussed means of cooperation and future projects between the Society and the Foundation.
?With the potentials TAG-Knowledge enjoys, we can work together to set up this initiative in all the Jordanian provinces in order to reach all students wherever they are and help them utilize means of technology in enhancing their knowledge,? Meanwhile, Mr. Abu Osbeh briefed the delegation on the training courses offered and the expertise the Society and the Academies enjoy.


In addition, he highlighted the latest initiative of Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh at Gaza camp, near Jerash in launching Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Center for Capacity Building in order to facilitate the access to Internet to the camp?s students.


On the other hand, Mr. Hammad welcomed the delegation and explained TAG-Knowledge?s role in enhancing the university students skills and experiences through research and studies available on the Internet in addition to strengthening social responsibility among them.


The IYF delegation expressed their satisfaction with the level of services the Society provides.
Mr. Hammad revealed TAG-Knowledge?s tendency to set up other branches for the Society in the Al-Yarmouk and Muta universities.
