RIYADH --- May 28, 2009 ---The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) in collaboration with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has recently launched the ?Arab Certified Quality Manager (ACQM)? program in Saudi Arabia.
The program?s training courses started on May 23, 2009 and are conducted at the premises of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, covering seven modules, and will last till June 22, 2009.
The program is comprised of approximately 88 training hours that include various modules such as Essentials of Quality Management, Total Quality Management Tools, Core Concepts of Leadership and People Management, Strategic Planning in Quality Management and others.
The ACQM program seeks to assist participants acquire some necessary skills, in order to analyze quality-related problems and carry out strategies to solve them, along with developing and enhancing researches and applications in the field of quality management principles and practices.
The ACQM certificate is a professional specialized certificate that is accredited by the British Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), a legal body for quality management professionals established in 1919, which aims at making quality the core of each institution.
ACQM is also accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) that aims at developing the capabilities of managers and leaders throughout the world by providing specialized qualifications and programs for educational sources diversification.
AKMS has recently held this program in Muscat in collaboration with the Arab Omani Institute for Administrative Training. In addition, arrangements are underway to hold this program in various Arab countries in order to enhance AKMS?s role and activities in the Arab world in line with its strategies of promoting knowledge and developing Arab management capabilities.
