AMMAN --- April 5, 2009 --- The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) organized on 21-26 March,2009 a professional training course entitled ?Knowledge Management: Theory, Concepts and Application in Excellence Model? which is one of the criteria of the King Abdullah II award for Excellence.
The main objective behind holding the course was the need to enhance knowledge and awareness of people working in the field of Knowledge Management (KM). In addition, the course focused on recognizing the concept and nature of ?Knowledge?, defining KM, identifying KM strategies, processes, solutions, systems and infrastructure, understanding culture, administrative and technological factors affecting KM implementation, in addition to applying KM best practices locally, regionally and globally.
Attending the course were members of organizations competing for excellence awards from the public and private sectors, Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) managers, CIOs and senior executives who wish to apply or improve KM in their organizations.
AKMS management intends to hold professional training courses in criteria of interest for King Abdullah II award for Excellence such as performance and operation.
