AMMAN --- March 19, 2009 --- The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) was officially accredited by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) on March 16, 2009 to become a ?registered training center? in the Arab region.
According to this recognition, AKMS is entitled to offer Level 3 certificate in Quality Assurance.
?This is a unique accomplishment for AKMS, as this certificate qualifies candidates with the necessary knowledge in this field and it also covers concepts and fundamentals in the area of quality control,? Hanan Hidmi, AKMS manager said.
?Successful candidates who obtain this qualification will be entitled to continue with the acquisition of other advanced qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Quality Management offered by CQI,? she added.
The Quality Assurance qualification is composed of three modules:
-Customer, clients and markets
-Principles of data analysis
-Standards and laws.
The CQI had previously adopted the Arab Certified Quality Manager (ACQM) qualification which was launched and administered by AKMS; thus, it has been added to the list of academic and professional qualifications approved by the Institute to license accredited quality experts internationally.
AKMS is also preparing another cooperation/partnership agreement with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) according to which auditors in the Arab region will be accredited in the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) through AKMS.
This kind of cooperation will grant AKMS the right to publish the Institute?s magazine and bulletin in the Arabic language.
