Gaza AKMS Members Exempted from Current and Previous Fees

AMMAN --- February 14, 2009 --- The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) announced that the Society?s President Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh has decided to exempt AKMS?s members in Gaza Strip from membership fees due for the year 2009.

In addition, all members who did not pay their fees for previous years will be exempted, and members who have already paid the 2009 fees will receive a refund.

?We should continuously support AKMS members in the Gaza Strip in all conditions and circumstances,? AKMS Manager Ms. Hanan Al-Hidmi said.

?This decision is important due to the difficult economic and living conditions people of the Strip are going through,? she added.
