TAG-Org and NARD Sign MoU for Training and Human Development

DUBAI --- February 4, 2009 --- The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), the Arab organization for global professional services, and the National Academy for Research and Development (NARD), the highly modernized academy developed to empower educational standard in UAE and GCC countries, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cover various fields of interest.

According to the MoU, the two parties will cooperate in the following fields; training, qualification, human development, capacity building, administrative development, professional development and Information Technology services.

Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org chairman and CEO, and Dr. Najwa Diab, the National Academy executive director, signed the MoU.

The MoU provisions entail that both parties will conduct annual training courses in the financial and administrative fields; meanwhile, the Academy will recognize all the professional certificates issued by TAG-Org and its sister companies and societies like the Islamic Finance certificate, the Abu-Ghazaleh IT Skills diploma, the Arab Certified Quality Manager (ACQM), the Arab Certified Intellectual Property Practitioner (ACIPP) certificate and the Arab Certified Public Accountant certificate (ACPA).

In addition, TAG-Org will work on accrediting the National Academy as a licensed center where training courses and IT Skills diploma examinations will be conducted.

A working committee will also be established with members from the Organization and the Academy to set up mechanisms, plans and programs to implement the MoU provisions according to the highest professional standards.
