CAIRO --- January 25, 2009 --- The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization/ Cairo Office is taking part in the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) displaying more than 100 titles and publications.
Among the more recent publications is the Talal Abu- Ghazaleh Information and Communication Technology (TAG ICT) Dictionary, an English-Arabic publication of about 6500 ICT terms. It was created to serve various goals; one of which is meeting the needs of ICT specialists and students at universities, colleges and vocational institutions by providing necessary explanations for various terms rather than merely the equivalent meaning or synonym.
Recent titles also include: International Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs)- Practical Implementation Guide and Workbook (Wiley), and Handbook of International Auditing, Assurance, And Ethics Pronouncements in addition to others.

Over the past years, the Cairo International Book Fair has become a great cultural event, and a spacious scene for conducting dialogue among intellects, men of letter and artists.
The CIBF, which rates second in importance after the Frankfurt International Book Fair, was first held in 1969 as part of the celebrations marking the Cairo millennium. Since then it has become an annual event providing an opportunity for displaying books,
concluding publication and distribution contracts and exchanging copyrights.
More than 567 publishers from 72 countries are taking part in this event.
Attending the opening ceremony were a number of ministers and high-ranking officials.
