The seminar focused on the vision of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management in contributing to the development of the performance of both government and private sectors in the Arab world
AMMAN -December 4, 2008 ,The Committee of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management recently organized, in cooperation with the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), an introductory seminar at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Amman tackling the objectives, components and categories of the Award.
The seminar, which witnessed a considerable presence of public and private organizations, focused on the vision of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management in contributing to the development of the performance of both government and private sectors in the Arab world. In addition, the Award aims to encourage the performance of human resources by providing global models and standards for institutional and individual excellence.
The seminar also focused on developing Arab management upgrading it to the highest levels in order to further Arab governmental and private organizations to develop their performance and improve their services through the implementation of Total Quality Management.
Mr. Ahmed Nseirat, a member of the Award Committee, provided a detailed definition of the Arab management concept and the excellence awards. On the other hand, Ms. Maryam Al-Sarkal, the Award?s executive manager, delivered a speech on the objectives, components and categories of the Award. The seminar was closed by Award Coordinator Eng. Ola Mbaydin defining the standards and how to nominate for the Award. This was followed by an open discussion with the audience.
Members of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award Committee arrived in Amman after holding several seminars across the Arab world.
It is worth mentioning that Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Arab Management Award has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TAG-Org concerning the organization and the management of the Award.
