DUBAI, October 22, 2008, Officials from the Kingdom of Bahrain eGovernment Agency represented by director of Policies and Business Process Re-engineering and director of Administration and IT at the Court of the Crown Prince discussed ways of cooperation with TAG-ITI, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) ICT consultancy arm.
TAG-Academies Regional Executive Director Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh stated ?It is necessary to utilize the investment made by the government of Bahrain to build up eGovernment services. This utilization can only be achieved by building the capacity of the Bahraini civil servants to use the eGovernment services.?
The meetings were held during GITEX Technology Week, the region?s largest information and communication technology exhibition currently held in Dubai Oct. 19-23, 2008.
Meanwhile, TAG-ITI Executive Director Mr. Jamal Al Khalili delivered a presentation introducing the new services and products of TAG-ITI presented for the first time at GITEX.
?They have shown keen interest in our services especially the ISO 27001 and portal implementations,? he said.
TAG-ITI, which has seen strong growth over the past year and has successfully been awarded many projects across the Middle East, took advantage of GITEX week as a launching pad for its new range of services.
TAG-Org booth is located at B6-40 and the GITEX Technology Week is open from 10am - 7pm.
