Huawei Investment, TAG-Training Academy and PSUT to Create Telecommunications Engineering Training Center in Jordan

A Tri-Lateral Agreement Signed at Princess Sumaya University AMMAN  October 5, 2008 A cooperation agreement was signed recently by the Chinese Huawei Technologies Company, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training (TAG-Training Academy) and the Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) to create a telecommunications engineering training center in Jordan.

The signing, at the University?s headquarters, was attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya Bint Al-Hassan, Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and Mr. Gong Xiaosheng the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan.

The agreement calls for the signing parties to cooperate amongst each other to enhance technical training in the field of telecommunications and develop it through combined efforts, by creating the training center for telecommunications engineering.

A Tri-Lateral Agreement Signed at Princess Sumaya University According to the agreement, Huawei will provide the Center with the necessary technical amenities to facilitate the training processes and prepare trainees, while the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh ICT Academy will provide the necessary logistic infrastructure relating to halls and other services, an effort that the PSUT will contribute to as well.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Hiro Wing vice-chair of Huawei?s Middle East operations, Mr. Mustafa Nassereddin executive director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training and Dr. Hisham Ghusaib president of the PSUT.
