Abu-Ghazaleh calls for establishing global collaboration agreements
AMMAN -August 11, 2008 Chairman of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh met recently at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAG-College) headquarters in Amman with a delegation from the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL).
The main purpose of the meeting, attended also by TAG-Org and TAG-College senior directors, was to discuss a collaboration agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Educational Consulting (TAG-Education) and ACEL for providing joint consultancy and training services in relation to educational leadership in Arab countries.
ACEL?s delegation to the meetings comprised of Ms. Jenny Lewis, ACEL?s CEO, and Professor Emeritus Frank Crowther, ACEL?s past President and Senior Consultant at the Leadership Research Institute and the University of Southern Queensland.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was discussed and signed by both parties. Executive Director of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Research Center Dr. Al Moez Al Husseini signed the MoU on behalf of TAG-Org, along with Professor Emeritus Frank Crowther on ACEL?s side.
TAG-Org Chairman called for continuous cooperation between the two parties, especially in the areas of establishing global collaboration agreements between TAG-College, TAG-Education and ACEL in various education-related fields. Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the need to conduct training and professional development programs for educational leaders in all Arab countries.
An Australian educational leadership center will be established at TAG-College along with an educational leadership executive program.
