TAGorg Khobar Office Completes 26 Feasibility Studies for Businesswomen Ventures in Saudi Arabia

Khobar --- May 7, 2008 --- The TAGorg consultations team at the Khobar offices in Saudi Arabia has recently completed the evaluation of 26 economic feasibility studies for projects presented by Saudi businesswomen, in anticipation of their obtaining financing from the Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Fund for Supporting Small Business Projects for Women.

The Executive Director of the Khobar Office, Mr. Wahib Anwar, stated that the Fund adopted 17 projects as a first phase, and that the consultation teams will monitor the execution phases of these ventures. He explained that the team is preparing to review 1500 projects that will be financed by the Fund.

Mr. Hasan Ali Al-Jaser, the Fund?s Secretary-General, and Ms. Hana?a Al-Zuheir, the Fund?s Executive Director, both praised the professional efforts exerted by the consultations team to complete the tasks within the specified timeframe.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, the Prince of the Eastern Province, had signed four treaties between the Fund and a number of member companies of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization.

The agreements aim to enhance the activities of Saudi women in society by supporting small projects, availing opportunities for female business pioneers, supporting the growth and development of their businesses and helping them find genuine and competitive work opportunities in the local market.
