TAGCON & ADC to Establish Aqaba Business Center

AQABA - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Consulting Company (TAGCON), one of the companies of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg), has signed an agreement with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), the central developing organization of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, to establish the Aqaba Center for Business.

The agreement was signed on July 23, 2006 in the presence of Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chair and CEO of TAGorg and the Chief Commissioner of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)  Engineer  Nader Al Dahabi. 

TAGCON Executive Director Mr. Mustafa Nasserddin and ADC Chairman and CEO Engineer Imad Fakhouri, signed the agreement which stipulates that a business center would be established on an area of 20 dunums with the cost of 10 million Jordanian Dinars.

Working on the project will start by the end of this year where three buildings out of the ten-building project would be established during the First Phase.

Al Dahabi said that the Aqaba region has witnessed a great boost in its economic development and in the magnitude of investments and businesses in the last few years.

“This  crystallizes His Majesty King Abdullah II s  vision in turning Aqaba into a regional center for industry and commerce. This  agreement is considered an addition to fulfill   this goal,” he commented.

Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh, expressing his great satisfaction over the signing of the agreement, reiterated his Organization’s willingness to exert utmost efforts in order to contribute to the development of the Kingdom.

Fakhoury, on the other hand, stated  that Aqaba is going through major economic developments mainly  in the size of workforce market that has emerged as a result of the enormous foreign investments in the region.

Nassereddin confirmed that TAGorg is capable of providing its clients from investors to businessmen through this project with all required high-tech services.

He pointed out that the Organization has an immense amount of expertise in many domains such as auditing, consultancy, Intellectual Property (IP), information and communication technology ( ICT) as well as legal translation that are all devoted for serving TAGorg clients.
