The Higher Education Council Approves Agreement to Launch TAGCB

The Jordanian Higher Education Council has approved the agreement of cooperation between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg) and the German-Jordanian University to establish Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAGCB) as a major college at the University.

The College grants BSc and MBA certificates in administrative sciences, financial sciences, intellectual property and information technology. The College is entitled to propose other programs in agreement with the university?s administration and have other branches in the Arab countries.

The College?s state-of-the art building, which is located in one of Amman?s most prestigious suburbs, consists of halls, administrative and service offices. The halls are well and fully equipped to provide students, from all the specializations, with professional training, orientation and education. The College will be conducting training courses and qualification programs in the previously mentioned fields of specialization in coordination with the University administration. TAGCB will be the first training center of its kind in the Arab world.

This strategic partnership between the private and public sectors is pursuant to the German-Jordanian University?s strategy which aims at bridging the gap between the outcome of higher education, scientific research, practical experience, and the requirements of national economy. In addition, this partnership keeps pace with the rapid evolution in the fields of administrative and financial sciences, intellectual property protection, information technology and telecommunication sciences.

It is also pursuant to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization?s policy in encouraging scientific research and developing administrative and financial sciences in Jordan, in particular, and in the Arab region as a whole due to its resources, expertise and specialized qualifications in this field.
