Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society sponsors the third session of the Architect Forum

Amman ? 28 December 2009- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG- Knowledge) recently organized in its premises the third session of the Architect Forum in coordination with the engineering faculty students in Jordan under the title "Experience of Communicating with the Tradition".

More than 60 students from the faculties of engineering at Jordanian universities participated in this session which hosted the Architect Dr. Rami Al-Dhaher who addressed several restoration and renovation project in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The Architect discussed with the students the details of these projects focusing on the importance of preserving the heritage by not changing the fixed components of the projects under development with minimum architectural finishes.

Architect Al-Dhaher has a record of achievements in the field of architecture the most important of which are the Rainbow Street in the City Center and Wakalat Street in Sweifieh in Amman.

Within the framework of the Forum, TAG-Knowledge usually hosts an architecture practitioner with architectural experience which he presents and discusses with the participant students and answers their questions. The objective is to disseminate the knowledge benefits of such important type of projects that combines preserving the heritage and modernization requirements.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society is the latest initiative by Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh to perform its corporate social responsibility towards the Jordanian and Arab communities, and to be a hub for promoting intellect and knowledge, developing Arab youth and human resources, and qualifying the largest number of local professionals by providing them with competitive skills through exposure to knowledge and developments in the international community under the direct supervision of TAG-Org experts.
