TAG-Org Participates in Muscat International Book Fair

MUSCAT-- March 22 2010 -- The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) took part in the Muscat International Book Fair February 24- March 5, 2010.

 
A record number of 500publishing houses representing 27 countries from around the world displayed the latest collection of titles in the event organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman.

"We are really happy with our participation at this international Book Fair as it is a way to stay in touch and communicate with the world of students," TAG-Org Publications Department Director Mustafa Hammad said.

 
"We have displayed our latest publications which include dictionaries in various subjects, our specialized books in addition to a review of our services," he added.

Among TAG-Org?s publications displayed at the Fair is the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information and Communication Technology (TAG ICT) Dictionary, an English-Arabic publication of about 6,500 ICT terms. It was produced to serve various goals, one of which is meeting the needs of ICT specialists and students in universities, colleges and vocational institutions by providing necessary explanations for various terms rather than merely equivalent meanings or synonyms.

Recent titles also include: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) - Practical Implementation Guide and Workbook (Wiley), Handbook of International Auditing, Assurance and Ethics Pronouncements, Handbook of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (2006-2007), in addition to others.
