Center for Continuing Education and Community Service in Kuwait Celebrates TAG-Cambridge Graduates

KUWAIT CITY---July 4, 2010---The Center for Continuing Education and Community Service at Kuwait University has recently celebrated TAG-Cambridge CID-IT graduates in a special ceremony held at the Universitys headquarters in Al-Adiliya.Center for Continuing Education and Community Service in Kuwait Celebrates TAG-Cambridge Graduates
The celebration was attended by Mrs. Fawziyeh Marifi, director of the Center and officials from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) - Kuwait Office, Mr. Abdul Latif Al-Ahmad, chief associate of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, Mr. Hazem Abu-Ghazaleh, executive director of Kuwait Office and Mr. Ahmad Odeh, director of TAG- Cambridge CID-IT program.
Mr. Al-Ahmad thanked all those working in the community service center and continuing education who work continuously for the activation and success of the International Cambridge program in Information Technology skills CID-IT.
He especially thanked Mrs. Marifi, for her great efforts in organizing the training course and her keenness to facilitate all procedures related to its implementation. Center for Continuing Education and Community Service in Kuwait Celebrates TAG-Cambridge Graduates
He addressed the participants in the program saying: This shows your eagerness to develop your scientific skills and capabilities through participation in the various specialized professional programs that we always encourage our sons to attend due to their importance and effects on the development of the Kuwaiti society.
Al-Ahmad emphasized that Cambridge Certificate program CID-IT has attracted the attention of various governmental institutions in Kuwait such as the Ministry of Education, the Public Authority for Applied Education, the Central Organization for Information Technology in addition to Kuwait University.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Marifi expressed her appreciation to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and praised its distinguished services and continuous efforts in facilitating all procedures related to hold the examinations.
Mrs. Marifi stated that the Center for Continuing Education and Community Service is currently preparing to conduct two additional programs for a group of university students.
It is worth mentioning that the Center has been adopted in 2009 as one of the training and exam centers for TAG - Cambridge CID-IT.
The Center for Community Service was set up in 1976 to meet the multiple needs of the Kuwaiti society with regard to specialized training to enhance skills and capabilities.
The Center, through its mission, aims at developing the community, providing advisory services and displaying a bright image of the Kuwaiti society before the visiting delegations.
The Center also endeavors to raise the cultural, social and economic awareness at all levels of the Kuwaiti society, thus contributing to the formation of behavioral patterns and enhancing knowledge and skills in technical areas to improve living standards, as well as supporting national development plans through clear strategies and advanced training programs.
