Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Award for Excellence in the Canisius College Graduate Accounting Programs

BUFFALO, NY - December 3, 2015 - The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) established an endowed scholarship at Canisius College to be used for the purpose of providing the annual Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Award for Excellence in the Graduate Accounting Programs.

The annual scholarship award will be granted to an outstanding graduating student from the MBA in Professional Accounting program or from the MBAA 150 hours program.

This prestigious award is given to a graduating student who has not only excelled in the rigorous academic programs of Canisius College but has demonstrated the potential for contribution to the accounting profession. 

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Award for Excellence in the Graduate Accounting Programs at Canisius College was established in 1989 and has been given each year to a graduate from the MBA in Professional Accounting program (MBAPA) or from the MBA in Accounting program (MBAA).

Outstanding graduating students are invited to apply for this prestigious award and they are interviewed by a committee from the Council on Accountancy that has the responsibility of selecting the award winner.
