Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Represents AKMS in the ISO/TC 176 Technical Committee Meetings in Hong Kong

HONG KONG – December 6, 2015 - Upon an invitation by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) in Hong Kong, the ISO/TC 176 Quality Management and Quality Assurance technical committee meetings was held during the period November 21-28, 2015 with the participation of more than 200 experts from 44 countries.

The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) represented by the International Executive Director of Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Eng. Khaled Abu Osbeh will be taking part in these meetings which tackle important issues regarding the ISO 9000.

Reviewing and amending the ISO 9004 and ISO 10006 will top the agenda of the meetings especially after the issuing of the ISO 9001 for the year 2015 last September. The ISO 9004 and ISO 10006 follow the ISO 9001 regarding importance. Teams will work on reviewing ISO 10005 (guidelines for quality plans) and ISO 10007 (Guidelines for Configuration Management).  

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AKMS chairman stressed on the importance of AKMS participation in such meetings of the ISO/TC 176 technical committee since 1993 with full force as AKMS can transfer the latest in the world of quality to all interested experts in the Arab world.

It is worth noting that Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are the only Arab countries that are taking part in the meetings in addition to AKMS.
