TAG-Org on Forbes List of the Top 100 Companies Making Impact in the Arab World and the Only Professional and Educational Services Provider on the List from the Region
KUWAIT - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), was listed as the only organization in the Middle East for all the professional and educational services it offers on Forbes List of the ‘Top 100 Making An Impact in the Arab World’. The Companies making the list, released for the fourth consecutive year, were honored at a Gala Dinner held at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.
During the event, the most prominent names in business were announced in the presence of many distinguished guests including HE Sheikh Mohammad A. Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Kuwait, and Dr. Nasser bin Aqeel Al Tayyar, President of Arab Publisher House and Publisher of Forbes Middle East.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of TAG-Org, said: “We provide our services at the highest international levels throughout the Arab World and globally, we are proud that we earned this unique distinction from the region,” adding, “It is also an incentive for us to pursue our motto of ‘we work harder to stay first’.”
According to Forbes’ researchers who conducted the list, the methodology of selection was underlined; “We started with 1,316 publicly-traded companies from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia. We excluded publicly-traded subsidiaries of listed companies, those suspended from trading.
“To rank the top 100, we measured four metrics: sales, net profits, assets and market value. Market value and currency conversions are as of April 6, 2016. Each company received four separate scores based on where it ranked in each metric’s”
The list of companies includes the most successful on a global and international scale that contributes to economic development of the region. The companies that made the list are transparent in terms of financial and business activities, and contribute to social and economic development.
