Abu-Ghazaleh and Brazilian Ambassador Discuss Cooperation, TAG-Orgs Expansion in South America
AMMAN – June 12, 2016 - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), received the Brazilian Ambassador to Jordan, HE Mr. Francisco Carlos Soares Luz to discuss potential ways of cooperation including the expansion of TAG-Org’s work in the South American country.
During the meeting, key issues and a variety of joint-venture initiatives and business opportunities were discussed in the fields of Intellectual Property – Legal frameworks, Education, Consulting Services, Tenders, Enhancing Tourism, and the Copyrights of Music and Arts.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said, “The business opportunities discussed fall in line with TAG-Org’s goals to help businessmen around the world and promote exchange programs in Education.” He added, “Our aim is to facilitate access to Brazilian companies and help local Jordanian Businessmen who want to pursue business in Brazil.”
HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh indicated, “TAG-Org and the Embassy of Brazil will cooperate to enhance Brazilian business activities, and in acquiring the International Standards Organization (ISO), as well as providing other consultancy advice pertaining to feasibility studies, strategy, and management.”
HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh proposed the idea of establishing a new Language School in Jordan that incorporates teaching Spanish and Portuguese, added to the long list of other affiliated language centers for the organization. “Teaching these new languages will increase future business opportunities, educational programs, and tourism,” He said.
HE Mr. Luz said, “Promoting Business development in Brazil and enhancing Tourism between both countries are of interest, as Brazil’s macroeconomic indicators are positive, and the potential for investment is promising.” He also pointed out that Brazil has the third largest economic reserves in the world, after China and Saudi Arabia.
The Brazilian Ambassador said, “There is great potential to incorporate exchange programs in Education as Brazil has a large network of universities.”
