Abu-Ghazaleh and Hadi Saleh Discuss Establishing TAG University in Kurdistan

We aim at establishing a model university to qualify graduates according to the highest international standards ? Abu-Ghazaleh

AMMAN --- April 4, 2009 --- Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) met with HE Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the province of Kurdistan ? Iraq on April 2, 2009.

Both parties discussed mutual cooperation in several fields especially the establishment of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University in Kurdistan-Iraq and a branch for the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academies for training purposes in all business fields.

Dr. Hadi Saleh extended his appreciation to Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for suggesting this idea saying that ?we seek to bridge the gap in education in Kurdistan.?

Meanwhile, Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that ?we will offer all the potentials and expertise we have in this field to make this project see the light.?

?We aim at establishing a model university to qualify graduates according to the highest international standards to prepare a generation equipped with leadership and management skills to be able to deal with all the changes and obstacles,? he added.

In addition, Dr. Hadi Saleh attended part of the Advisory Board meetings of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business/ German Jordanian University, and he toured the College where he was briefed on the latest facilities.
