LONDON - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) received on Wednesday the Middle East IP Firm of the Year Award for 2008 at the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) 3rd Annual Global IP Awards Dinner held at Claridge?s Hotel, London on April 9, 2008.

According to MIP, the awards recognize the achievements in IP work over the past year, whether in prosecution, litigation, licensing or other works. They mark the culmination of MIP?s five month-long annual world survey of the worlds leading IP firms.

As per the results of the survey released last month, AGIP was ranked in Tier One for trademark, patent and copyright prosecution and contentious work.

MIPs survey is the largest and most in-depth ever; it covered both prosecution and contentious work in 65 jurisdictions including the Americas, Asia and Europe.
