AKMS Takes Part in Labor Market Challenges Seminar at AAU

TAG-Org offers many programs to qualify graduates from Jordanian and Arab universities to enter confidently the labor market such as Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Program for Job Development Incubator

AMMAN --- August 5, 2009 --- The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS), represented by Mr. Qais Khalafat, executive director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academies and a member of AKMS Board of Directors, has recently participated at ?Labor Market Challenges? seminar organized by Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU).

Held under the patronage of AAU President Professor Dr. Maher Salim, the seminar tackled the challenges of the labor market that the graduates encounter.
During the seminar, Mr. Khalafat highlighted the importance of specialized professional training and its role in creating job opportunities for graduates. He underscored a number of training programs offered by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org).

?TAG-Org offers many programs to qualify graduates from Jordanian and Arab universities to confidently enter the labor market such as Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Program for Job Development Incubator,? he said.
?The programs provide practical training for fresh graduates in order to provide the labor market in Jordan and the Arab region with qualified consultants,? he added.

Mr. Khalafat also gave a detailed presentation about the training courses and the projects implemented by TAG-Org in various Arab countries that aim at empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to enter the market as employees or small projects? owners.

?The Organization offers SME?s Toolbox program which has been designed in cooperation with IQTIDAR/United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for economic empowerment targeting young people and businesswomen.?

Meanwhile, Professor Salim, in his opening remarks welcomed all guests and graduates and highlighted the role of the University in supporting its graduates.
At the end of the seminar, participants received attendance certificates from AKMS.
