Egypts University of Mansura Honors Abu-Ghazaleh as A Science and Knowledge Pioneer

CAIRO----- April 8, 2015------- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) and the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) was honored for being a pioneer in the field of science, education and knowledge by the University of Mansura at the conclusion of the conference held under the Patronage of the President of the Republic of Egypt Abdul Fattah Al Sisi under the title “The Role of Industry in Economic Development.”

Dr. Mohammad Al Qanawi, president of the University, presented Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh an honorary shield for his role in developing science and technology, building knowledge societies and calling for an educational system to meet the needs of Arab societies. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized in his speech the need to achieve the two-sided concept of (Quality and linking the labor market requirements with the University graduates in terms of specialty and quantity) as well as the necessity of conducting an unprecedented leap in the field of scientific research at universities. 

The proposals of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in the conference raised wide discussion echoes among the participants and experts whom complemented the scientific and intellectual arguments which came through the participation.
