IFRSs Foundation Praises ASCA/ Jordan

AMMAN------- July 26, 2011------ The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) Foundation praised the work of the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA/Jordan) in translating and developing the training material on IFRS for SMEs.

ASCA has translated and developed 22 training modules related to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in addition to a presentation offering easy-to-apply explanations, simple examples and questions at the end of each training module.

This material will be introduced next September in Dubai in the context of the specialized “train-the-trainers” workshop being organized by ASCA/ Jordan, Dubai SME and IFRSs Foundation.

This workshop aims at developing capabilities of trainers and qualifying them to provide training on IFRS for SMEs.
