TAG-Business Executive Director in Syria Office Receives PhD

AMMAN --- March 19, 2009 --- Mr. Fadi Abdulhamid, executive director of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business (TAG-Business) Syria office, has obtained a PhD degree in Administrative Information Systems on March 18, 2009 from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences (AABFS) in Amman.

Abdulhamid?s thesis, entitled ?Knowledge Management & Performance Excellence in Public Sector "An Empirical Investigation in Jordanian Public Sector", focused on the fact that knowledge management can be developed through improving knowledge management?s life cycle.

According to Abdulhamid, this improvement will affect performance excellence elements and end up with improving the overall organizational performance.

?The public sector organization which achieves high maturity in implementing knowledge management practices is candidate for achieving high level in performance excellence,? Abdulhamid stated.

?I view knowledge management as an umbrella for enhancing performance and achieving performance excellence in public sector,? he concluded. In this respect, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) congratulates Mr. Abdulhamid for this achievement and wishes him success in the future.
