Around 80 students and representatives from various societies took part in the event armed with voluntary ideas for a better social responsibility
AMMAN --- July 12, 2009 --- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) invited on July 4, 2009 university students and youth institutions to join in the Voluntary Day at Al-Hussein Cultural Center organized by Siraj Program and sponsored by Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship and the Technology Book Company.
Around 80 students and representatives from various societies took part in the event armed with voluntary ideas for a better social responsibility.
Several workshops, lectures and presentations were presented to the attendees focusing on skills of voluntary work, planning and strategy of voluntary work, developing the work of voluntary societies in addition to others related issues.
Mr. Tareq Hammad, Tag-Knowledge executive director expressed his satisfaction with the Voluntary Day saying: ?It is a great team work by all volunteers who showed keen interest in their work and presented several ideas that can be implemented for the future of voluntary work.?
Mr. Hammad gave a presentation on the role of the private sector in developing the social responsibility in the society and also thanked all volunteers for their dedication and effort.
