TAG-Org Kicks off GITEX Participation

This is TAG-Org?s first participation in GITEX and we have already received positive responses from the public and other companies-Awdeh

DUBAI, October 19, 2008 ,The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), the regional professional leader with 71 offices in 35 countries kicked off today its participation at GITEX Technology Week, the region?s largest information and communication technology exhibition currently held in Dubai Oct. 19-23, 2008.

ICT Executive Director and GITEX project leader Dr. Raed Awdeh said ?This is TAG-Org?s first participation in GITEX and we have already received positive responses from the public and other companies.?

?We have adopted ?Come to us for Solutions? motto because we believe that with our experience, products and services we can achieve that in this high-tech world,? he added.

TAG-Org will be launching a host of new products and services to accommodate different sectors and fields.
Some of the new products to be launched include: 

• TAG-PEDIA: The first Arabic electronic encyclopedia. 
• TAG Accountant: A bilingual encyclopedia of accounting entries, and the first of its kind in the world. 
• TAG ICT Dictionary: This is an English-Arabic dictionary of about 6500 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terms. 
• TAG-Domains: Internet domain registration services which include Country Code Top-Level Domains (ccTLDs), Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs), and Arabic Domain Names. 
• The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center will also be represented in GITEX.

Meanwhile, TAG-ITI, TAG-Org?s ICT consultancy arm, which has seen strong growth over the past year and has successfully been awarded many projects across the Middle East, will be presenting its range of services at GITEX. Some of these include: 

• ERP consultancy 
• ICT and security auditing 
• ICT vendor selection

Meanwhile, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh ICT Academy (TAG-ICT Academy) will be presenting their hands-on-experience practices and specialized training services in ICT technologies.

On the other hand, TAG-Org and upon the invitation of Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and CEO of TAG-Org, is hosting a special section for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
?There is a huge cooperation between the UNESCO and TAG-Org in various fields especially the intelligent property protection sector,? UNESCO Communication and Information Specialist Ibrahim Al Zobaidi Said.

The 28th edition of the show organized by the Dubai World Trade Center officially opened today welcoming more than 130,000 visitors and 3,300 companies from 83 countries over the next five days.
