TAG-Org Launches a Group of Significant Initiatives, Organizes a Musical Concert in Maan Governorate

 

AMMAN 26- July 2015 ---

Upon an invitation by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, a visit to Maan governorate shall be organized next Tuesday 28 July with the attendance of a delegation of thirty high-ranking dignitaries led by HRH Princess Dana Firas.

The aim of the visit is to follow up on previous programs and promote better implementation of a group of projects that are currently being implemented. 

The visit to Maan governorate will include HE Dr. Amin Mahmoud, HE Lana Mamkegh , HE Lina Shbeib, Dr. Tawfeeq Kreishan, HE Shihada Abu Hdeib, HE Hassan Abu Nimeh, HE Nabil Talhouni, HE Hussein Kreshan and the working group for development projects in the southern region at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) managed by the general coordinator of southern regional affairs, HE Ahmed Ghazi Obeidat

A central feature of the programmed activities shall include launching a training program in the field of tourism in the southern region exemplified through the signing of a cooperation agreement between TAG-Org and the National Association for Preserving Petra.

Other important features of the tour shall include a visit to the Hussein Bin Talal University to highlight the progress of the Memorandum of Understanding and the cooperation agreement recently signed between TAG-Org and the University. The visit shall also include an event launching a study on building a land port in Maan governorate, in addition to opening one of several centers of TAG Knowledge Society in Qantara for human resource development. Furthermore, a cooperation agreement aiming to qualify youth in Maan governorate to enter the labor market will be signed. 

The technical center for children education shall be inaugurated at Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, affiliate of the Ministry of Culture, established based on the instructions of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to promote deeper cooperation between the private and public sectors.

Also, a TAG-Org Office shall be opened and hosted by Maan Development Company, established pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties. Added benefits of such an agreement include providing services by TAG-Org to existing and new investors as well as preparing training programs.

Furthermore, a visit to the Southern Center for Special Education will be conducted to be briefed of mobile clinics that can be established to serve the local community and the southern region.

The visit shall be closed with a celebration under the patronage of HM Queen Noor Al Hussein at the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah Cultural Center performed by Maan Folklore Troupein addition to the Jordanian National Orchestra Association (JOrchestra) chaired by HE Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and the honorary chairmanship of HM Queen Noor Al Hussein.
