CAIRO - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) has announced the opening of its new premises in Cairo at the Smart Village in October 6 City, Egypt.
The announcement was made during the ?Afro-Asian Knowledge-Based Society Initiative? International Founders? Conference, which was held January 11-12 in Cairo.
In addition, Abu-Ghazaleh announced the launch of the first Intellectual Property (IP) satellite television station, TAG-IPR TV, which will open a new window for serving members of the media society interested in IP.
?The decision to launch this station arose from the need to promote much-needed awareness on intellectual property rights issues and information about IP,? stated Abu-Ghazaleh.
The new satellite channel, reporting in both Arabic and English, will be a credible source of information that satisfies the growing interest in issues relating to Intellectual Property.
?The TV station will serve as an additional means for acquiring information along with our popular online news agency, Ag-IP-News, which provides comprehensive updates and articles on IP-related issues around the world,? he continued.
TAG-IPR TV is a pioneering world satellite channel that will run specialized programs to raise awareness on the importance of protecting IP in the Arab region and the world at large.
