TAGI Ramallah Office Supports INJAZ Palestine Students Competition

RAMALLAH-------May 9, 2010------- The fifth round of the INJAZ Palestine Student Company Competition where students are giving the opportunity to establish their own companies concluded on Tuesday at Ramallah Palace with the participation of several schools in the West Bank.

The project was sponsored by a host of private and public organizations which provided training and financial support.

Mr. Jamal Milhem, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International Ramallah Office executive director who headed the judging committee for the last three years said, "It was really hard to take a decision among all participants in the competition but we believe that no matter what the results are, you all did your best as we believe that you represent the core of the Palestinian economy."

"We are proud to be part of the competition as per the directions of Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh who sees the future in the eyes of those students who are really building the Palestinian economy brick by brick," he added.

The Student Company Competition witnessed products made and marketed by students themselves through the extensive training provided by companies such Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International.

Students actually played the role of businessmen, setting up companies with fixed capital and administrative and HR structures, following a series of concentrated and result-oriented entrepreneurial courses.

Injaz Palestine Society is an independent organization that aims at enhancing the economic opportunities for Palestinian youth through providing educational and economics courses offered by volunteers from the private sector.
