TAGorgs Buildings in Amman Connected to One PABX

Al-Husseini: Cairo Office can contact any building in Amman and vise versa with zero cost

AMMAN---July 8, 2007--- The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg) announced on July 5, 2007 that the Microwave project to connect all the Organizations buildings to one PABX, telephone system, has been successfully completed.

"All TAGorg buildings in Amman have one telephone system now through which any employee can contact any other building by dialing the extension he/she wants without any extra costs," Mr. Ashraf Al-Husseini, the Communications Manager at TAGorg explained.

"Contacting Cairo Office will not incur any costs since it has been already connected to Amman buildings by VoIP, and now that all the buildings have one telephone system, Cairo Office can contact any building and vise versa with zero cost," he added.

"Future plan will include connecting all TAGorg external offices by VoIP to the buildings in Amman," Al-Huseini said.

TAGorg has replaced all the lines leased from the Jordanian Telecom Company with high-speed computer network which has saved the organization large amounts of money.

"One of the most important achievements is obtaining high-speed computer network that reaches 16Mb/s as compared to 2Mb/s obtained by the Jordanian Telecom Company," Ashraf concluded.
