AMMAN------ February 12, 2015------- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, started the implementation of Bawabati for Employmentinitiative.
The Initiative aims to provide training and employment opportunities to fresh graduates of the Jordanian universities, and provide them with the required skills and tools in the labor market that help them pursue a distinctive career.
It also aims to provide the labor market- including Jordanian companies and institutions- with high level of competence and professionalism in different specializations to help bridge the gap between graduates’ competence and the requirements of the labor marketgiven its positive impact on the national economy of Jordan.
TAG-Org held a meeting with the coordinators of sectors at the Ministry, in which the idea and the content of the initiative have been introduced to them, so they can introduce the Initiative to the officers in charge in various industrial and commercial organizations, companies and sectors. In addition, the coordinators were provided with brochures, invitations and training contracts to be sent to all business sectors.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org Chairman, emphasized the Organization’s keenness to provide job opportunities to the Jordanian qualified professionals, and indicated that the cooperation with the Ministry of Labor is part of TAG-Org social responsibility for qualifying citizens and graduates to help them find decent job opportunity.
He also indicated that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society is responsible for providing, supervising and managing the qualification for the Initiative, and providing training, qualification and certificates of professional experience within the programs of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training.
It is worth mentioning that "Bawabati for Employment" Initiative is a joint initiative between TAG-Org and the Ministry of Labor which aims to help job seekers of all qualifications, categories and locations through a long-term and sustainable strategic plan. The Initiative also aims to qualify job seekers, particularly the females, to fulfill the requirements of the labor market through training and qualification to occupy productive jobs that serve the citizen in all governorates, and to motivate them to establish and manage small enterprises.
The Initiative attracts fresh graduates of public and private universities and community colleges as well as job seekers. It includes initial training for three weeks followed by practical field training ranging from six months to one year. The Initiative is based on a number of subjects covering the practical, life and personal skills which help improve the personality, expand prospects and boost self-confidence.
