The (M/SME Toolbox) training program targets owners of small and medium enterprises and is developed by the Information & Communication Technologies for Development in the Arab Region (ICTDAR), part of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg). The Organization prepared ad hoc training toolbox of (M/SME) program, and carried out training for the trainers in cooperation with ICTDAR.

The M/SME Toolbox is a new and creative business tool intended to help entrepreneurs and business owners to increase their productivity and efficiency through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It is a practical and user-friendly tool to introduce M/SME owners and entrepreneurs to the basics of business management. The M/SME Toolbox, available on CD ROM in Arabic, English and French, provides entrepreneurs with computer-based courses, and easily customizable templates and forms that can be tailored to specific enterprises, covering business management, business planning, human resources management, accounting, costing, procurement, marketing, operations management, and stock control.

The cooperation between TAGorg and the UNDP to provide training to pioneer owners of small and medium enterprises in the Arab countries is another example of TAGorgs commitment to support micro, small and medium enterprises. These ventures increasingly play a major role in supporting economies and alleviating poverty and unemployment in the Arab countries.
