The World Bank Launched a Workshop for Independent External Auditors

    AMMAN- The World Bank held a training workshop on June 18, 2007 headquarters Amman entitled ?Independent External Audit, World Bank Audit Policies and Practices? with the participation of the auditors from both the private and public sector.

The workshop explored various topics such as Financial Management in Bank Financed and Administered Operations, Audit Policies and Practices, World Bank guidelines for projects and loans.

Basem Dweik, Senior Quality Auditor at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and Co. (TAGorg) participated in the workshop he noted, ?the workshop was so valuable especially in the area of World Bank requirements for auditing loans"

He added the workshop provided useful tools concerning how to audit Banks financed
Projects and deliver high quality reports.
