Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Establishes a Knowledge Station at Jordan Environment Society

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), received members of the Jordan Environment Society (JES) Administrative Board whose Board of Trustees is headed by Dr. Ahmed Obeidat to explore ways of cooperation in which the Society can benefit from a host of services provided by TAG-Org.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed on the important role played by JES in protecting the environment, expressing TAG-Org's readiness in establish a fully-equipped Knowledge Station at JES Headquarters to be used for training.

He also stated that TAG-Org is ready to expand its cooperation with JES in developing joint activities related to training in the information technology field and environmental work and establish a knowledge station at JES equipped with the latest technology to be used by its members and youth.

He said that TAG-Org provides a host of services in the various fields such as: accounting, and external and internal auditing, corporate governance, tax, education consulting, economic and strategic studies, vocational and technical training, Intellectual Property services and businesses services in addition to others in light of the need for a well-structured development of institutions for a better future.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh added that TAG-Org achieved success among clients representing Arab and global, government and NGOs and leading companies in the field of banking, industry, insurance and trade pointing out that more than 100 knowledge stations have been inaugurated so far.  

He also noted "We focus on training and developing and our main message is capacity building here and in the world as part of achieving democracy in education for all through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International University."

Meanwhile, JES President Mr. Ali Freihat expressed his pride in this meeting, conveying Mr. Ahmed Obeidat and other Board of Trustees members' greetings to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh. He praised TAG-Org’s role in helping the Society in recycling all its documents for more than five years.  

He added that JES was able, through its staff, to achieve its mission in cooperating with various institutions in which it conducted many awareness programs and activities such as planting trees, and make our country clean initiatives in addition to other environmental work. He also pointed out that the Society has achieved numerous local, Arab and International awards such as Best Voluntary Society, Arab Organization Award in Dubai in 2014 as the best society dealing with environmental issues.

Mr. Friehat highlighted TAG-Org’s work in promoting different sectors and institutions in the aim to reach public interest. 

JES Executive Director presented a brief on the recycling programs, highlighting the importance of waste recycling.
