Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University Seek to Advance New Cooperative Programs

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), received Mr. Ahmed Ali, Client Relationship Director and representative of Thunderbird School of Global Management for the Arab region, on the event of Thunderbird's newly established office in Dubai and of its recent acquisition by Arizona State University.

The two parties discussed ways of furthering cooperation and on preparing joint activities to present the School's digital programs in Foundations of Applied Analytics, Enterprise Analytics and Big Data, and Data Mining and Predictive Analytics.  

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed on the importance of digital education which will be the basis for education, pointing out that this cooperation with Thunderbird and Arizona State University to present digital educational programs comes as part of TAG-Org's work policy in keeping up with the development in the technology sector around the world and at the same time provides the best services for the next generation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ali said that Thunderbird is working on opening a new regional office in Dubai Media City to be close to TAG-Org and to strengthen its relationship with the Middle East. Thunderbird is already working on development of a digital education program focused on the needs of students from the Middle East. 

The new programs are a result of the merger between Thunderbird and Arizona State University, the largest public university in the US in terms of the number of students and size of business. The university has extensive academic resources that may be added to the capacity and educational quality provided at Thunderbird − which forms a unique type of cooperation. Arizona State University has been classified by U.S. News and World Report, as the No. 1 ranked university in America for Innovation. Thunderbird has a 70-year reputation as a leading innovator in global business management.
