“Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum” Continues Training of University Students on Entrepreneurship Remotely

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF) continues the training of university students on entrepreneurship digitally by TAG-KF Manager Mr. Fadi Daoud through the training program executed by the non-profit organization INJAZ.

Students receive training on entrepreneurship as a part of the KAUFFMAN program; one of INJAZ’ programs that lasts for 10 weeks.

The program targets university and community college students with the aim of building their entrepreneurial skills on establishing their own startups and taking the proper decisions relating to their own projects in addition to qualifying them to take part in the National Entrepreneurship Contest on the Kingdom's level.

Daoud moderated an interactive live streaming lecture in a series of lectures delivered remotely through smart applications, with the participation of a host of students from different faculties at the American University in Madaba and German Jordanian University (GJU).

Daoud, also the Education and Youth Consultant at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global, took part in this training program in line with the Forum’s goals in supporting the youth and entrepreneurship, as well as the Forum's absolute belief in the importance of transferring expertise and building capacities of students; noting that they would play an active role in building the Jordanian  economy through their projects and startups to overcome the crises and challenges Jordan and the world are facing during this critical stage. The participants affirmed their great interest and benefit from the training which helped them   understand the basic entrepreneurship skills and principles; expressing their wish to have an effective role in finding solutions to Jordan economic problems and discovering innovative ideas. 

Hashim Al Shawabkeh, student at the Engineering Faculty, American University in Madaba, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity he had in participating in this program that provides students with real practical expertise.

Meanwhile, Farah Al Saudi, a student at the Faculty of Architecture at the GJU affirmed that women can establish their own firms and manage their businesses as entrepreneurs regardless of the challenges they face in the Jordanian society.
