Due to the fall in value of Lebanese pound and price hikes ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Pays Additional Monthly Salaries to All its Employees in Lebanon until the Crisis Ends

BEIRUT – Despite the stagnation, recession and price hikes in Lebanon due to the steep devaluation of the Lebanese pound; the coronavirus pandemic that caused the closure of many companies and factories as well as the resulting layoffs, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), announced that all the TAG-Global staff in the Lebanon branch will be getting an additional salary (two salaries) on a monthly basis until the price of the pound stabilizes. 

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh announced the continuity of paying the salaries of all employees without any exception at all TAG.Global’s offices located in more than 110 countries around the world, affirming that no one of TAG.Global’s employees has been laid off during the crisis. On the contrary, he announced, new employees have been appointed during the past month. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh wrote to the Minister of Labor in Jordan,  Mr. Nidal Bataineh, asserting that TAG.Global would hire more job seekers once the Coronavirus lockdown ends. 


He also expressed his appreciation for the government's efforts in combating the epidemic, stressing that TAG.Global would not take or ask for any government compensation or support as a result of the losses and damages TAG.Global incurred during the past period.
