Abu-Ghazaleh Discusses Means of Cooperation with Delegation of Arab Academics and Scientists Union

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), hosted a delegation representing  Arab Academics and Scientists Union to discuss means of cooperation and how to benefit from the services offered by TAG.Global.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred to the various member firms of TAG.Global and other institutions that His Excellency chairs and could offer their services to the Union in many areas. 

Furthermore, the two parties discussed the mechanism of implementing quality assurance programs in education in collaborating with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) and the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) for the development of scientific research and its tools, as well as cooperation in research fellowships for the purpose of invention and innovation 

In addition, the two parties agreed on establishing a scientific journal, the first of its kind in the region, to be concerned with innovation with the aim of electronically publishing academic research from the Arab countries, with joint expertise between TAG.Global and the Union. 

Additionally, the two parties discussed means of cooperation in the field of traditional and digital training to benefit from the professional courses organized by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy for Capacity Building, and to use TAG.Global’s training halls and facilities that are fully equipped for such activities. 

Another important topic discussed was the Union’s cooperation with the Higher Coordination Committee of the Arab Literacy by offering the Arabic Fluency Test and Program (Talalqa), fluency program in the Arabic language, which includes testing of fluency and Arabic language level assessment tests, in addition to training courses for native and non-native speakers, to contribute to the Arabic language dissemination, the furtherance of its universal value and the assurance of its continuity, in addition to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT) program.

Arab Academics and Scientists Union was established in 2018 in Amman, under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of the Arab States with the aim of enhancing the position of Arab academics and scientists inside and outside the Arab region, shed light on their achievements and encourage the spirit of cooperation amongst them.
