With the aim of expanding educational and professional opportunities ‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ and British Council Sign Partnership Agreement

CAIRO – The British Council in Egypt signed a partnership agreement with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information Technology International (TAGITI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) in Cairo, according to which TAGITI becomes one of its centers to conduct the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) two series of exams, Level II and Level III.

The agreement was signed by the Council Representative, Maxim Raimann, and Ms. Samar Al-Labbad, TAG.Global Deputy Chair, at TAG.Global headquarters in the Smart Village in Cairo.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s most popular English language test that measures language proficiency of people who want to study or work in an English speaking environment. More than 11,000 organizations in 140 countries accept IELTS, including government, academic and employment institutions. Meanwhile, CFA exam is one of the most popular international exams for financial data analysis practitioners.

According to the agreement, IELTS exams will be conducted at the TAGITI’s headquarters as a new authorized testing center consistent with the British Council’s objective in expanding access to IELTS exams for those who wish to enhance their educational and professional opportunities.

Cooperation with TAGITI will grant IELTS exam candidates the opportunity to smoothly sit for the exam in a comfortable environment in accordance with relevant international standards.

 IELTS candidates can choose to sit for the exam in one of the many different venues in Egypt using the applicable registration process.
