On the occasion of the World Diabetes Day ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Patronizes Free Medical Day in Gaza Camp

JERASH, Jordan -  Under the patronage of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) the Jordanian Diabetes Team organized a free medical day to raise awareness on diabetes in Gaza refugee camp in Jerash, in the presence of Jerash Governor, Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud, and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS) Executive Director, Mr. Zaid Al Majali.

This initiative, organized on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, marked every year on November 14, focused on raising awareness and organizing workshops for women on optimal control of diabetes, in addition to shedding light on the diabetes risk factors; ways of reduction and prevention.

For the first time, the Jordanian Diabetes Team offered additional services including free dental checkup and consulting by a specialized dentist.

 Jerash Governor deputy Mr. Hamad al-Karazneh expressed his gratitude to TAG.Global for its continuous efforts in serving the local community and Gaza Camp.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Al Majali affirmed that HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), pays special attention to the needs of children at Gaza Camp, pointing to his continuous role in building and sharpening the skills of the youth in Jordan. 

On behalf of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, Al Majali presented gifts including laptops to outstanding students in the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) at the Camp to provide them with advanced technological tools to support their learning and development journey.
