Abu-Ghazaleh’s Expectations: Prepare for the Worst, Trump will Remain in the White House, a U S Civil War Possible
AMMAN – Well-known economist, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), stressed that 2020 was a year of crises, during which the world experienced severe hardships; most notably the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which had major economic repercussions worldwide.
In the 50th and last episode of his weekly program (The World to Where?) on Russia Today TV (RT), Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh reviewed the main events that took place in 2020 as well as his expectations for this year. He reminded that he had previously predicted an impending major economic crisis that may hit the world by the year 2020, and that was the case.
Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that all expectations he had previously revealed were conclusions of different studies, some of them were based on research results that were carried out by prominent international research centers in addition to analysis of senior officials' statements.
He also explained that his negative predictions were mainly meant to be warnings of possible dangers, in order to prompt the proper preparations to prevent the consequences of such possible happenings. However he expressed his happiness that some of the negative expectations did not been happen, although Dr. Abu Ghazaleh, still believes that the current US President, Donald Trump, will not accept his election defeat and leave the White House on January 20th 2021 peacefully.
“I still believe that Trump will never leave the White House, as I still believe that a civil war in the United States may take place,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said, adding that "Trump will declare a war to remain in his position as the Commander in Chief of the United States’ Armed Forces, as America, with Trump as its President, only sees China as the axis of all evil”.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred to the many voices that disagreed with his analysis saying: "Many people disagreed with me when I talked about a big recession in 2020. They claimed that 2020 will witness prosperity instead but they were proven wrong”. He added "Today, people talk about a recovery in 2021, even though some studies say that the world in 2021 will experience worse depression that will reduce the GDP, except in China which will achieve substantial GDP growth”.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh concluded his episode by warning that the next
year (2021) will be a difficult year in terms of all issues he tackled in
2020.
