Abu-Ghazaleh Patronizes Plastic Art Exhibition in Support of Palestine

AMMAN – Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu Ghazaleh Global, (TAG.Global), Tawasul Cultural Association organized an art exhibition of the works of  elite of Jordanian plastic artists in support of the Palestinian cause. The event was attended by Ms. Reema Melhem, chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, Dr. Jamal Al Hajjar, Association vice-president and a host of entrepreneurs and interested in culture and art guests.

The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the role of art in documenting  the ongoing Palestinian struggle against occupation, as well as to fully allocate the exhibition’s proceeds to the Palestinian children and the people who are being constantly subjected to the Zionist occupation oppression and aggression against their lives and their freedom.

Dr. Abu Ghazaleh toured the exhibition and expressed admiration of the paintings and portraits created by the hands of Palestinian and Jordanian artists, young artists from the Institute of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture and a number of other  member artists of the Association.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in the exhibited works. He praised the Association for organizing such an event, stressing the significance of displaying the talents of artists especially when art is motivated by a noble cause and when it aims to delivering a positive message to recipients.

“Palestinians are a civilized people who belong to a great Arab nation which will prevail thanks to its great civilization”, Dr. Abu ghazaleh said, adding: “The Zionist occupation, injustice and oppression will never undermine their determination and willpower, and they will one day force the Zionist settlers out of their land”.

He recalled the period of his displacement as a Palestinian refugee in 1948, saying that: “When I looked at my father's face, who had lost everything he owned, I decided at that moment to take revenge by outsmarting my enemy, and that was my own message during my life journey to prove to everyone that the Palestinian is superior to others and worthy to live.”

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh commended Jordanian-Palestinians solidarity, referring to the unity that connected the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with Palestine since the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah I, the founder of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, through the reign of His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal, May God rest his soul in peace, and currently under the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein; the Great Hashemite kings whose support for the Palestinian cause has always been unwavering.

Referring to the recent Zionist airstrikes that destroyed TAG.Global’s  office in Gaza during the recent war, Dr. Abu Ghazaleh said: “It makes us more determined to keep going on in reestablishing our office, and to remain hopeful and optimistic of a better and brighter future for us and the people of this region. Zionist occupation will end with an immense victory.”

In conclusion, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his thanks to the Association for their efforts in organizing the exhibition, noting that such activities contribute to building positive and civilized societies.
