Cooperation agreement with Libyan Society for Quality & Excellence in Education
Abu-Ghazaleh Affirms AROQA’s Keenness on Disseminating Education Quality Services in the Arab World

AMMAN - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, signed a cooperation agreement with the Libyan Society for Quality & Excellence in Education, chaired by HE Prof. Dr. Hussein Margin, president of the Society. The agreement’s goal  is  to collaborate in disseminating quality education activities, university accreditation and capacity-building services.

AROQA Executive Director, Mr. Yaser Al Nadi, conveyed the greetings of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh to members of the Society, stressing that this cooperation indicates Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s keenness on promoting quality education on local and Arab levels. 

Al Nadi also highly hailed the Society’s efforts in providing consulting services to develop and improve the performance and capacity of educational institutions in accordance with the national standards to ensure the quality of education and accreditation.

For his part, Dr. Margin stressed that the Society, through its cooperation with AROQA, seeks to improve the quality of university education especially in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and he highly praised the role and efforts of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in enhancing the quality of education, encouraging innovation and shifting to digital learning to keep pace with today’s requirements through AROQA and its various programs particularly the ‘Accreditation for Educational Institutions’ program. 

The two parties agreed to work together in marketing AROQA’s accreditation in Libya, in addition to collaborating in training and capacity-building in the fields of Innovation, Creativity, Scientific Research and Evaluation.

The agreement also provides for relevant functions enhancing quality in  related areas through organizing and holding conferences, seminars and workshops, in addition to promoting education quality learning in primary, secondary and university educational institutions by providing consultations, and granting academic institutions the opportunity to publish scientific research papers in AROQA’s Arab Journal of Quality in Education (AJQE).
