Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Explores Prospects for Cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global

FUJAIRAH - Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in his office at the Chamber’s premises. Dr. Abu Ghazaleh was accompanied by a TAG. Global delegation during the visit.  TAG.Global provides professional services including accounting, management consulting, technology transfer, training and education. 

TFrom the receiving side the meeting was attended by Mr. Khameis Mohamed Alzeyoudi, Secretary of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Khaled Khalfan Al Kaabi, Treasurer of the Chamber, in addition to the Chamber’s Board members including Mr. Sultan Mohamed Meleih, Mr. Saif Ali Aleter, Mr. Tariq Ebraheim Alhanaee, Ms. Aishah Mohamed Jasim and Mr. Yasser Ali Aleter, as well as, the Chamber Director General, Mr. Sultan Jemei AlHindasi.

During the meeting, the Chamber’s members were briefed about TAG.Global services and potentials that can be made available to the Chamber. 

Meanwhile, Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi commended TAG.Global’s significant role in the provision of professional services in different fields, in addition to its contributions to assisting innovators and entrepreneurs in developing their varied skills.

The meeting also discussed various topics such as the future and the trends of world trade;  the major challenges facing the public and private sectors, due to the changes in the e-commerce sector in the world; and the need for better technologies for the future. The attendees also underlined the importance of partnership between the two sectors-public and private, which would positively contribute to achieving sustainable development goals for the concerned countries. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized the need for electronic solutions saying:  “We live in the era of ‘digitization’ and artificial intelligence that is proceeding at an extremely fast pace; which drives the public and private sectors to deal with electronic solutions as a basic requirement in various economic, commercial and development fields.” In this aspect, he added that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is considered one of the most developed and advanced countries in this area. 

He further said that the digital transformation would effectively contribute to economic recovery from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as it assists in transforming the leading projects into opportunities for success. Accordingly, he noted that TAG.Global; due to its global presence, has carried out its leading role in the digital transformation process by establishing a consulting department for corporate digital business transformation services, and that’s why TAG.Global’s work and activities have not been affected during the COVID-19 pandemic and the closures it caused worldwide. 

At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi concluded by expressing his appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his efforts in serving the Arab and global economy. 

Concluding, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Chamber, and praised the active role the Chamber plays and the services rendered to the business community, which contributed to enhancing the development process in the Emirate of Fujairah.
